CAD X11® Enhancements in year 2012
- Mouse thumbwheel zoom in/out has been implemented. Roll the thumbwheel
one click forward to zoom in, one click back to zoom out. This support
is only functional when zooming is permitted (not when a dialog is displayed
for example) - (release 4.1.247) - Mar 5, 2012
- Mouse controlled panning is supported. Press the middle mouse button
down and hold it there. A hand cursor will be displayed. Move the mouse
as desired to move the drawing around the screen area. Release the button
to stop the panning mode. If you do not move the mouse, the middle mouse
button down/up sequence will generate the REJECT function key ([) as
before. This support is only functional when zooming is permitted (not
when a dialog is displayed for example) - (release 4.1.247) - Mar 5,
2012
- The Ctrl X hotkey that is used for interrupting a long auto max-min
or repaint sequence is now only armed during that process. Therefore,
the Ctrl X key is now active in most Windows programs (was not before
while CAD X11 was running) - (release 4.1.247) - Mar 5, 2012
- A long term problem with infrequent stray diagonal lines on the screen
that could not be selected has been resolved. These lines were normally
short lines just off the display screen, with a line type other than
solid - (release 4.1.247) - Mar 5, 2012
- A problem with center justifying text (General Notes) changing the
font type to no. 512 has been corrected. This problem was apparent then
you center justified text notes (not dimensions or labels) and the font
changed and you could not change it back using the font menus. In extreme
cases this could 'hang' the CAD X11 program with that drawing because
if you did not have 505 or more TrueType fonts loaded, the graphics
system would lock up (release 4.1.247) - Mar 5, 2012
